About Me

Born in the Puget Sound area, I have lived close to (or on) the water all my life. Today, I prowl the waters of Yaquina Bay and the Pacific on the central coast of Oregon.

Did what I did to get to where I am. Life is full of adventure, laughter, and love if you open your inner child to the world. My life's quest is to return to the innocence I once sacrificed for the satisfaction of others.

Exposed to the brotherhood of the blade at an early age, I have journeyed a twisted path in search of the freedom that was always there just beyond my blinded sight. Today, I cherish what I always sought...being happy, joyous, and free!

Pirate is such a coarse term....I prefer to consider myself as a maritime pre emptive salavage expert...and besides...it was already sinkin' when I got here.

22 April, Dispatched to the Admiralty:

Your Lordships –

With compliments, HMS Stout respectfully wishes to report a successful mission in the town of New Orleans in the Americas. Responding to rumours of an invasion of Pyrates during the period of 17 April through 20 April, we encountered very large numbers of ruffians and wenches in the area known as the French Quarter. Questioned, however, they were found, for the greater part, to be hardworking seamen, honest merchants, salvage experts, and cargo transfer specialists, all faithful subjects of the Crown, as they told us. Most of those who claimed to be Pyrates were, in fact, simply in their cups, or former patients at Bedlam.

Indeed, there were some exceptions, notably a very large rogue known as Talderoy. He put up a bit of a struggle when placed under arrest, but two brave officers soon subdued the fellow. He was released, however, under the Birthday Rule; which, as your Lordships know, is similar to the Leniency Rule for Orphans.

Despite a brief obstruction of the roadway by a massing of these rowdy lads and lasses, and the caterwauling of a couple of bands of itinerant musicians, the King’s Peace was kept. No lives were lost, no buildings were burned; the town of New Orleans, currently bravely rebuilding after a devastating storm three years ago, was saved by the Royal Navy from any depredations by Pyrates.

HMS Stout will continue its mission of suppressing piracy while awaiting further orders.

On behalf of Captain Farley Wigglesworth,
Commanding HMS Stout,
I am your most obedient servant,
Lieut. John Ash

God Save the King.

Be'in the Captain of the "SWAMP WITCH" and journey'in around in the mar an muck of these 'ere bayou's 'ere in the southern-central Waterways. We be keepin' a weather eye out fer all goin' ons. We set sail from April til mid-November, at least twice on a monthly basis. We would love ta be journeyin' out to yer clear waters, and if'n the wrecks we find to have anything of value in the hold then maybe we can hire a couple of mistrels to keep the crew enlightened enough to make the journey without gettin' the scurvy.
